The story follows botanist Yan Guo and his fiancé-assistant Baobao as they relocate to Moon Island, a nature reserve. Their mission is to research the healing properties of rare plants, but their journey takes a mystical turn when they pray to the magical Eros Tree. This act binds them in a trial that requires Baobao to remain unseen by Yan for three years to ensure his survival.
