Return of the Storks

Vanda, played by Katharina Lorenz, is a stewardess based in Frankfurt am Main. After losing her job, she decides to visit her grandmother Magdalena in the Slovak Republic. This trip allows Vanda to reconnect with her heritage and experience a new world.

In Slovakia, Vanda meets Mirko, a man with a troubled past. Initially horrified by his involvement in trafficking, she soon discovers that Mirko also aids those in dire circumstances. The film delves into the complexities of love, morality, and the choices people make in difficult situations, providing a thought-provoking narrative.
