Return to Green Acres is a light-hearted romp that brings back most of the original cast, and you can really feel that chemistry. The Douglases, drawn back to the urban chaos of New York, get caught up in a familiar conflict with Haney, who’s up to his old tricks again—trying to cash in on everyone’s land. The pacing is breezy, fitting for a TV movie of the era, and while it doesn’t quite reach the charm of the original series, it still has those quirky moments and familiar faces that make it enjoyable. The practical effects are, well, what you'd expect from 1990, but they have a certain charm. It's a fun nostalgia trip, even if it's a bit uneven in execution.
