Road Ends

The story follows Maceda, a real estate agent portrayed by Chris Sarandon, who is on the run after his testimony against drug trafficker Orosco. Seeking refuge in a nearly deserted inn in California's Central Valley, he draws the attention of innkeeper Kat, played by Mariel Hemingway, while attracting the suspicion of a local cop, Gilchrist, played by Dennis Hopper.

As tensions escalate, the plot thickens with the arrival of federal agent Gere, portrayed by Peter Coyote, who is determined to track Maceda before Orosco's men can find him. The film delves into themes of survival and betrayal, set against the backdrop of a suspenseful narrative involving drug dealing and law enforcement.
