The film revolves around Kanichi, who works at a wet tissue company in Mito, Japan. His life takes a turn when he encounters Gondo, a former teacher who lost his job due to a scandal involving secretly filming others. Gondo is now with Mihari, a hostess, whom he has taken away from Tokyo.
