Instead, she receives a torotot, a trumpet crafted from rolled-up film negatives, which serves as a unique representation of creativity and resourcefulness in her community.

Set against the backdrop of Bikol, Rolyo also delves into the local tradition of using film negatives to protect farmlands from birds.
