Rosamunde Pilcher: Der Himmel über Cornwall

The story follows Charlotte Bold, who returns to Cornwall with her daughter Grace after many years apart. Grace is eager to meet her father, Lord James Blixton, who is unaware of her existence. This return brings Charlotte back to the Blixton estate where she once worked as a gardener and had a passionate affair with James before he married.

As Grace meets members of the Blixton family, including James and his children Lilian and Harry, tensions arise. Lilian, who is threatened by the arrival of Charlotte and Grace, attempts to distance them from the family.
