Roses for the Prosecutor

Set in April 1945, the film follows Rudi, a soldier sentenced to death for stealing two bars of chocolate. He narrowly escapes execution and struggles to survive as a street peddler in the aftermath of the war. Years later, Rudi encounters Dr. Schramm, the judge who condemned him, now a respected public prosecutor.
