Roxy und ihr Wunderteam

The story follows Hungary's championship football team, led by Captain Count Szirmay, as they retreat to a lakeside villa after a victory in London. Their peaceful getaway is disrupted by the arrival of Gingi Cheswick, a runaway English bride who has stowed away with them. Serious team member Gyurka Károlyi must help return her home, but he finds himself drawn to her amidst a backdrop of comic antics engineered by the prankster Blazsek.

As misunderstandings and rival suitors complicate matters, Gyurka and Gingi's relationship unfolds under the watchful eye of a girls' institute and Gingi's determined father. The narrative builds to a climax on the playing field, where Gyurka's unexpected heroics lead to both a sports victory and the approval necessary for their romance to flourish.
