Ryeosu

In Ryeosu, Chul-soo, a university student and part-time courier, is tasked with delivering the ashes of a deceased homeless person. His job is a means to support his education. Mi-jin, also a student at the same university, is compelled to become a surrogate mother to pay for her tuition. After giving birth, she decides to escape to Yeosu with her baby, where her path intersects with Chul-soo's.

This film features performances from Go Joon-hee and Jung Eui-chul, adding depth to the characters' emotional journeys. The narrative delves into themes of sacrifice, survival, and the struggle for a better future, making it a poignant exploration of contemporary issues faced by young adults in South Korea.
