Saanjh

Saanjh tells the story of a young girl named Saanjh who is sent to live with her grandmother in a remote village. Initially dejected, she slowly builds a strong bond with her grandmother, leading to a transformation in her understanding of home. The film explores emotional journeys of family connections against the backdrop of serene village life in the Himalayas.

As the first feature film in the Himachali dialect, Saanjh aims to revive the lesser-known Tankri Script and highlights the rich cultural heritage of the region. The film features melodious songs by Mohit Chauhan and Pavithra Chari, enhancing the emotional depth of the narrative. This adds a unique auditory experience that complements the visual storytelling, making it a significant work in Indian cinema.
