Set in a quiet school by the sea, Sadness in Beauty delves into the complexities of social interactions among classmates. The departure of class representative Hyung-suk creates a power vacuum, igniting tensions between two long-time friends, Do-jin and Min-gu, as they vie for the affection of their classmate Suh-yeon.
