Salt-N-Pepa

Salt-N-Pepa tells the story of Cheryl "Salt" James and Sandra "Pepa" Denton, two students from Queensborough Community College. The film explores their entry into the world of rap and hip hop, starting with a song recorded for their friend Hurby Azor. As they navigate the music industry, they become the first female rap act to achieve platinum status, earning multiple awards and paving the way for future female artists.

The film features performances of Salt-N-Pepa’s greatest hits, including classics like "Let’s Talk About Sex," "What a Man," "Shoop," and "Push It." With a top cast that includes G.G. Townson and Laila Odom, the film offers a dramatic portrayal of the duo's impact on the music scene.
