The film centers on Renukadevi, who becomes a widow and is determined to raise her son Ram with strong values. Her late husband’s vices serve as a cautionary tale, prompting Ram's grandfather, Rai, to instill the teachings of the Holy Book "Geeta" into Ram's upbringing. Ram grows to embody these teachings, dedicating himself to a life of celibacy and yogic practices.

As the story unfolds, Renuka's desire for Ram to marry introduces tension. Despite her efforts to introduce him to Aarti, a potential bride, Ram remains steadfast in his decision to reject marriage.
