Sasha

Sasha tells the story of a young man whose aspirations clash with the reality of his family life and societal expectations. After his piano teacher, Mr. Weber, leaves town, Sasha confides in his best friend, Jiao, whose presence becomes a complicated fabric of lies and relationships. As the son of an Ex-Yugoslav family living in Germany, Sasha faces challenges around his sexuality and familial acceptance.

The film addresses the complexities of identity and love within a cultural context that often marginalizes LGBTQ experiences. As the narrative unfolds, Sasha's relationship with Jiao evolves, particularly when his younger brother begins an affair with her, leading to dramatic revelations and new possibilities for the family.
