The film centers on Dewi, a Chef de Cuisine at a five-star hotel in Bali, who has faced several disappointments in her romantic life. When she encounters Fredo, a Malaysian tourist with a challenging demeanor, their initial interactions are fraught with tension. However, a shared punishment during the Nyepi celebrations brings them closer together, and they discover parallels in their past relationships.

As Dewi and Fredo are forced to clean a temple together, they begin to connect and reflect on their experiences with love. Just as they are ready to embark on a new chapter, Fredo's ex-wife Mae unexpectedly arrives, complicating their budding relationship.
