In Scary Laughts, Zhang Chen finds himself haunted by dreams of an ancient woman, leading him to seek answers in reality. Along with his friend Wuxia and two aspiring horror scriptwriters, Lan Xi and Li Zhi, they travel to the mysterious location from his dreams. As they explore, they encounter a series of supernatural events that challenge their understanding of fear and reality.
