Scent of Wheat

The story follows three friends, Siamak, Esi, and Taghi, who are struggling with poverty. Taghi's addiction complicates their lives, while Siamak falls in love with Gandom, a school worker facing her own challenges. When their relationship is discovered, Gandom loses her job, and her health issues require costly treatment in Europe.

To help Gandom, Siamak resorts to illegal activities to gather the necessary funds. This narrative highlights the lengths one will go to for love and the impact of addiction on personal relationships.
