In this film, a cryptic military announcement disrupts the journey of an overnight express train. The passengers find themselves in a precarious situation as the train's telephone link with the outside world is severed, access to the rear is restricted, and the windows remain sealed. The story centers around the train's secretary, who is determined to uncover the truth behind the ominous events unfolding. Despite her growing anxiety, the other passengers remain largely indifferent to her concerns. A young priest plays a key role in maintaining order, intervening to prevent her from activating the emergency brake, which adds to the film's dramatic tension.
