Schöne Lügen

The film follows Kim Joosten, an interior designer who embodies the traits of modern women: confidence and success. After saving a child's life at a barbecue, she suffers severe burns that leave her disfigured with a large facial scar. This transformation complicates her professional life, as appearance is paramount in her field, leading to her marginalization.

As Kim grapples with her new reality, she also uncovers her husband Max's infidelity, adding emotional turmoil to her already challenging situation. The narrative focuses on her struggle to reclaim her identity amidst physical and emotional obstacles that threaten her career and personal life.
