Seance

The film unfolds in two narrative layers. The first layer features a visit to a cinema, including a projectionist, who reflects on their perception of the film being shown. This layer serves as an exploration of the experience of viewing and interpreting art.

The second layer presents the projected work, creating a film within a film. It begins with imagery referencing the tree of life or knowledge in Eden, followed by a correlation to Michelangelo Buonarroti's The Creation of Adam and other Renaissance works. The film then transitions to stark visuals from Nazi concentration camps, highlighting the darker aspects of human nature and serving as an allegory for the fall of man related to original sin.
