Seen from the Outside

The film presents a unique conceptual installation that challenges viewers' perceptions of their own culture. It features a projection that includes elements from the feature film Télé Réalité, co-directed by Desamory, Glodie Mubikay, and Gustave Fundi. The narrative centers on three Congolese women discussing a reality TV show they intend to produce in Belgium during carnival, adding layers to the exploration of cultural identity.

The installation creates a setting where an entrance is concealed, only becoming visible at certain moments. This obscured perspective invites viewers to engage with the film in a more intimate manner. As visitors interact with the video screen, they enter a secret chamber that reveals a surveillance monitor displaying peculiar characters within the environment of the Blancs Moussis of Stavelot, who are involved in the production of confetti.
