Serenade to the Executioner

The story follows Schomberg, a mysterious psychiatrist who runs a nursing home. As he faces pressure to close his clinic and evade the police, he seeks vengeance against Didier Laurent, the lover of his wife. Didier, a former RAF fighter pilot, finds love with a young trapeze artist named Paula, but their happiness is shattered by the murder of Irene, orchestrated by Schomberg to frame Didier.
