Seven Days' Leave

Johnny Grey, a soldier, is engaged to the singer Mapy Cortes. His plans take an unexpected turn when he discovers he is due to inherit $100,000 from his great-grandfather, with a stipulation that requires him to marry a descendant of a Civil War enemy. To avoid upsetting his engagement, Johnny concocts a temporary marriage-of-convenience with Terry Havelock-Allen, the beautiful descendant he must marry.
