The film captures a moment in time when several filmmakers come together to repair splices in Markopoulos’s Eniaios. During this process, Robert Beavers takes the opportunity to film interactions among his collaborators, including James, Silvia, Nina, Alexandre, and Julia. Their generosity and engagement serve as the central focus of the documentary.

In a second segment, Beavers films James Edmonds with an avocado plant that he nurtured while they worked together. This personal touch highlights the connections formed during the filmmaking process. Shared Table is a unique exploration of collaboration in the film community, particularly within the avant-garde genre.
