Shen Gu Si Bian

The plot follows Pu Po, an old Yi traditional Chinese medicine practitioner, and his son-in-law Fang Wen. They venture into the dense forests in search of a secret recipe for treating injuries. However, tragedy strikes when Pu Po falls into a valley, leading to the discovery of a disfigured corpse bearing his ID card.

As the story unfolds, Pu Po's daughter Chunyan is left mourning her father’s death. The atmosphere thickens when Pu Po mysteriously returns, despite being presumed dead. This blend of traditional practices and horror elements creates a unique narrative that will interest collectors who appreciate films that explore cultural themes within the horror genre.
