Shinjuku Punch

The story follows 22-year-old Hosei Dojo, a young man who has experienced misfortune in love. Eager for change, he ventures into the Kabukicho area, where he meets Rumi Itoda, a hostess at a bar. Hosei quickly falls for Rumi but discovers that she is involved with Takashi Takaoka, who subjects her to violence.

As Hosei becomes more entwined in Rumi's troubled life, he takes it upon himself to help her escape her abusive situation.
