It’s a day before the storm of the Nazi invasion, and you can feel the tension in the air. The characters are deeply layered, caught in their own little dramas, and the way their lives intertwine is just striking. The atmosphere is dense, with that palpable sense of impending doom. Practical effects add a raw authenticity that complements the performances, which are heartfelt and resonate with the weight of history. The pacing? It feels almost meditative, allowing us to really sit with these moments. Definitely something that lingers in the mind long after the credits roll.
