Sindoor

The film follows Rosy, who is coerced into prostitution by her aunt and later enters the Tollygunge film industry. Here, she faces exploitation at the hands of a director named Mr. Barun. Amidst this turmoil, she forms a bond with Amit, a hotel singer, who has his own history intertwined with hers.

As the story unfolds, it is revealed that Rosy is actually Sharmistha, Amit's childhood bride, lost to him in the past. Barun's jealousy drives him to kidnap Rosy, but Amit's determination leads to a dramatic rescue. The film culminates in their reunion, providing a resolution to their intertwined fates.
