So, 'Sisters' directed by Jason Moore is this fun romp that feels both chaotic and nostalgic. The chemistry between Amy Poehler and Tina Fey really drives the whole thing. They play these sisters who haven’t been on the best of terms, and the whole premise of sorting through their old rooms really brings out some interesting themes about family and growing up. The humor is very much in the vein of their previous work, but it has a bit of a loose, improvisational feel. It leans into the absurdity of their situation, and there are some genuinely funny moments mixed with a tinge of emotional weight. Practical effects are minimal, but the set design really brings you into that childhood space. Nice pacing too, keeps it light without feeling rushed.
