Sk8 Dawg is this light-hearted flick that kinda captures that classic underdog vibe. You’ve got Tommy, who’s surrounded by a world of skaters, yet he’s stuck on the sidelines, which honestly pulls at the heartstrings. The pacing is pretty brisk, keeping the energy up, especially during the skate-off scenes. The dynamic with his dog, Buddy, is a nice touch, blending practical effects with some humorous moments. The characters are exaggerated, like the bully Frankie, but they add some fun to the overall adventure.
