The story follows world-champion hockey star Rosťa Beran, who faces a life-altering crisis when he collapses and needs a heart transplant. The procedure is led by Dr. Magda, a figure from his past whom he abandoned after a brief encounter. As he loses his wealth and status, Rosťa embarks on a journey to rediscover purpose and courage in his life.
