The story revolves around Ulysses, who invites his neighbor Clothilde to accompany him to the Love Film Festival on Réunion Island. His debut film has been selected, but just before their departure, he discovers it has been removed from the program. Determined to keep this from Clothilde and win her affections, Ulysses travels to Réunion, intent on getting his film back into the official selection.

As the narrative unfolds, Ulysses faces internal rivalries and struggles within the film industry. The film explores themes of ambition, love, and the trials of a novice filmmaker. With a cast that includes Bernard Ménez, Jean-Claude Dreyfus, and Jackie Berroyer, this film presents an engaging look at the intersection of personal dreams and the competitive nature of cinema.
