Slower Than a Heartbeat

The film follows Lily, who is on a quest to find inspiration for her novel. She discovers Nino, a street artist, and decides to seduce him, using his life as the basis for her book. As she navigates her feelings and ambitions, she encounters Nino's friend Freddy, an ultra orthodox Jew and gay drag artist. This dynamic introduces tension as Lily views Freddy as a rival for Nino's affection.

As the story unfolds, Lily's intentions are challenged when Nino begins to uncover her deceitful motives. The film explores themes of love and manipulation, showcasing how personal connections can shift unexpectedly. Ultimately, Lily finds herself genuinely falling for Nino, complicating her initial plans and leading to a deeper exploration of her own desires and motivations.
