Snake Island Survival

The story follows Zhang Yong, who, after losing his wife while protecting a monitoring buoy, has turned to fishing to support his daughter. His life takes a turn when a typhoon reconnects him with his former station chief. Together, they embark on a mission to investigate a case of marine pollution that leads them to the perilous Sea Snake Island.

As the group navigates the dangers of the island, they face not only natural threats but also human treachery. The film explores themes of grief, duty, and the fight to protect the marine environment. Zhang Yong's journey from despair to acceptance forms the emotional core of the narrative, as he ultimately reclaims his role as a guardian of the sea.
