Solos

The narrative of Solos focuses on four young individuals who embark on a journey to showcase their movie in lost towns across the jungle. This road movie captures their ambition as they navigate the challenges of presenting their film far from the commercial theater experience. After a disappointing premiere in Lima, where their film was pulled after just one week, they seek to reach audiences untouched by mainstream Hollywood cinema.

In their quest, they hire Beto, an Argentinean with expertise in outdoor film screenings, to assist them with the technical aspects of their venture. As they travel, the initial excitement transforms into a deeper exploration of the connections formed through film, the value of friendship, and the feelings of isolation that accompany their journey. Solos offers a poignant look at the intersection of cinema and human experience.
