Somewhere on Earth

The film follows Yutaka, who grows weary of his writing career and faces the threat of his apartment building being demolished. To prevent this, he takes on the challenge of transforming the building into a variety store named "The End of the World". This endeavor leads him to cross paths with Huma, a high school student struggling with her own sense of detachment from her peers and family.

As Yutaka engages in this project, he not only works to save a physical space but also creates a refuge for Huma, who seeks solace in this new environment. The interactions between the two characters highlight the complexities of human relationships and the search for belonging in a chaotic world.
