Sonar Harin

The film follows Jayanta Chowdhury, a ground engineer who suffers grave injuries and is cared for by his fiancé, Kuntala. Despite her efforts, Jayanta is troubled by suspicions of a conspiracy, prompting him to return to Kolkata. There, he becomes entangled in a web of deception involving another engineer, Sandeep Mukherjee, who is coerced into criminal activities.

As Jayanta adopts the alias Arun Roy, he befriends Sandeep to uncover the truth. The narrative unfolds with themes of betrayal, loyalty, and personal sacrifice, reflecting the complexities of the characters’ lives. With a talented cast including Uttam Kumar and Kali Bannerjee, the film delivers a poignant exploration of human relationships against a backdrop of tension and moral dilemmas.
