Sorrell and Son

The film follows Stephen Sorrell, a decorated war hero, as he navigates the challenges of single parenthood after his wife deserts him and their son Kit. Despite losing a promising job, Sorrell perseveres in menial work, sacrificing his dignity and health for the sake of his son. The narrative becomes more complex when Kit's mother returns, forcing Sorrell to confront difficult choices regarding her reappearance in their lives.
