The film follows Captain Drawski as he is tasked with delivering a plane to a repair plant in Bydgoszcz. Accompanying him is a young mechanic, Marcin Mercik, who is not only inexperienced but also against regulations. During their flight, a malfunction leads to a critical situation where both must prepare to eject from the aircraft.
