This film follows Ricky, an autistic teen who escapes into the subway after being scolded for skipping class. His journey unfolds over several days among the varied individuals who inhabit the subway system. Simultaneously, his mother tirelessly searches for him above ground, creating a poignant parallel narrative.

Set in Far Rockaway, Queens, the film captures the essence of New York City in the days leading up to Hurricane Sandy.
