The film follows a family who, while celebrating New Year at home, learns about the intergalactic song contest known as "Cosmovision." Masha, inspired by the announcement, decides to enter the contest, receiving full support from her family as they embark on a journey with aliens to the event.

As they arrive at the contest, they encounter various characters from the intergalactic music scene, including the legendary singer Diva and the cunning pop singer Baron-Star, who has malicious plans against Masha.
