Steal America

The film centers around Stella, a Swiss tourist, and Christophe, a French drifter, who meet while traveling from Chicago to San Francisco. As they settle in the North Beach neighborhood, their relationship deepens amidst discussions about their dreams and frustrations with low-wage jobs. Stella works as a cashier in a postcard shop while Christophe parks cars at an upscale restaurant.

Alongside Maria, a bisexual Italian immigrant who works in the kitchen, the trio shares their dreams of leaving their current lives behind. They bond over their experiences as foreigners in America, often criticizing the culture around them. Their story takes a turn when Christophe decides to steal a customer's car, prompting the three to flee to New Orleans in search of a new adventure.
