Still Shining

In the 1940s, Sun-ok and Jeong-eem dream of escaping their small community to pursue music and personal freedom. However, their plans are derailed by a tragedy that forces Sun-ok into an unexpected marriage, while Jeong-eem mysteriously disappears, leaving Sun-ok with feelings of guilt and unresolved questions.

Decades later, the elderly Sun-ok has a chance reunion with Jeong-eem, who no longer remembers their shared past. The narrative also introduces Sun-ok’s granddaughter, Ji-an, who becomes a vital link between the two women. Ji-an carries the emotional weight and aspirations of a new generation, adding depth to the story's exploration of memory and legacy.
