Strange Tales of Love and Strangers

The film centers around Yuwen, a Taiwanese student who travels to a village in Fukushima to study abroad. Initially resistant to the idea of love, she finds herself in a dry land that mirrors her own emotional state. As she grapples with the language barrier and learns about Japanese culture from her host family and neighbors, her heart begins to open.

Yuwen's journey is one of transformation, as her interactions lead to a deeper understanding of relationships.
