Summer Lights

The film follows Akihiro, a Japanese filmmaker residing in Paris, as he returns to Japan on the 70th anniversary of the Hiroshima bombing. He interviews survivors, known as hibakusha, to create a documentary honoring the victims. Throughout this journey, he encounters Michiko, a young woman who introduces him to the beauty of the present amidst the haunting memories of the past.
