Summer on the Hill

The film follows Komora, a young painter, who, alongside his friends Mari, a teacher, and Dr. Szabó, an elderly doctor, purchases a barrack-building at the foot of the stone mine of Badacsony. Their goal is to create a camp for fine artists, offering workshop sessions that foster creativity and collaboration.

As they work to transform the site, the narrative also delves into the romantic relationship between Komora and Mari. The backdrop of a former internment camp adds depth to their journey, intertwining personal growth with historical context. The film features a talented cast, including József Pecsenke, László Mensáros, Katalin Gyöngyössy, Nándor Tomanek, and Teréz Várhegyi, who bring the characters and their stories to life.
