Super Rhino is a quirky little short that packs a lot of charm in its brief runtime. Directed by Nathan Greno, it plays with the classic trope of heroes in peril but adds a twist with the transformation of Rhino into a super hamster. The animation style feels playful and vibrant, catering to a younger audience but with enough wit to keep older viewers entertained. The pacing is brisk, which works well given its short length, and the character dynamics between the dog and Penny have a nice touch of warmth. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s distinct enough with its unique premise and clever visual gags that make it a fun watch. Plus, there’s something delightful about the absurdity of a hamster taking on a villain.
