The performances are raw and unfiltered, especially from the leads. And while it’s not a slasher in the traditional sense, the practical effects used in the violent moments add a raw touch that feels grounded. It’s a film that lingers, making you think about the human psyche and how trauma shapes our perceptions. Not your cookie-cutter thriller for sure.
