Světýlka z blat

The story revolves around the character Markyta, who is envious of her friend Marjánka and her life, including the pub they share. In a fit of jealousy, she drowns Marjánka and assumes her identity, leading to tragic consequences.

As the plot unfolds, Markyta's actions lead her to drown Marjánka's son as well, only to discover that both Marjánka and her son are not truly dead. They live on in the pond, and it is the brave Hanky who learns the truth and compels Markyta to confess her deeds, ultimately rescuing the two.
